Mama Always said, Eat Your Breakfast.
There is no doubt that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Studies have proven that
children who eat an am breakfast perform better at school. Plus, this excellent meal is filled fiber and whole grain. Try this easy recipe you can make ahead and freeze as well.
Total Time Prep 10 min
Bake 25-30 min
3 Cups of quick-cooking oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ cup butter I’ve always left this ingredient out
1 cup dried or fresh fruit old bananas, blueberries, peaches dried craisins
Preheat oven to 350, In a large bowl combine oats, brown sugar, baking powder,
salt and cinnamon. In another bowl whisk together eggs, milk, and butter if added. Stir until blended.
Spoon ¾ into greased cupcake muffin pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until set.
